COLLEGE BOOK FUND

Secondary school students often to not have enough funds to pay for all their books once arriving at college and, as reported on recent TV news programs, their grades may suffer.

Low-income East Palo Alto students, whose families are already burdened with paying up to 60% of their income for rent, need help with their first year college book expenses.

The average cost of one science book is $100. The intent here is to provide one-time grants of at least $500. To contribute, please see the Donations page.

East Palo Alto students usually attend either Palo Alto High School, Menlo-Atherton High School, or Woodside High School.  See the Recipients page.
