Freedom Arts

Dr. Webster is the founder and Executive Director of the Global Freedom Arts Education Association commonly known as Freedom Arts and an accomplished composer (several cantatas and two operas - one based on Edmond Rostand's play "Cyrano de Bergerac" and the other on Han Christian Anderson's short story "The Little Match Girl" which had it's premiere in Paris in 2013.  A video presentation of the opera and an excerpt were performed by local singers at St. Francis d'Assisi Church in East Palo Alto the following year.

His "Prelude to Intolerance: Meditations on the Life of Anne Frank" for violin and piano, and his "Cantata on The Universal Declaration of Human Rights" were performed in Palo Alto on 11 June 1995 in commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the signing of the United Nations Charter in San Francisco. The cantata has subsequently been performed in Palo Alto, and again in December 1996, for Freedom Arts' fiftieth anniversary commemoration of the founding of UNICEF.

He has produced documentary videos on one of the founding fathers, namely George Washington, which have been broadcast regularly on the Mid-Peninsula Media Center channels on Presidents Day and Independence Day.
